Jak plans to free Arianna without the help of the witches.
I love this series…
In this installment, we learn about Jak’s past. My heart went out to him for what he had to endure growing up. I have always felt Jak would be good for Arianna, but that has been reconfirmed by this discovery.
Discovering his history also made me like Gage Crittenden even more. It’s hard to believe he is Mace’s brother. Gage has been a good alpha and friend to Jak. It gave a new perspective on why it would be difficult for Jak to plot against Mace, not wanting to hurt and dishonor Gage.
Deception ends in a juicy cliffhanger that will make you want to read the next book, Escape, immediately.
